The X-12 digital transmitter is a true demonstration of the innovative technology provided to the medical community by Mortara Instrument. For chest pain evaluation or post catherization monitoring, the 12-lead ECG is considered the gold standard for non-invasive assessment of cardiac health. Mortara Instrument’s X-12 now provides this true 12-lead acquisition capability for ambulatory patients.

Although static 12-lead ECGs are always available from an electrocardiograph, these ECGs provide only a snapshot of cardiac activity. To effectively monitor possibly dynamic conditions, continuous 12-lead monitoring is required. Providing true 12-lead monitoring via telemetry reduces costs per monitored patient and also allows for greater patient freedom during the monitored period.

When desired, the X-12 can utilize reduced lead set configurations, including 4, 5 and 10 leadwires.

Mortara Instrument recognizes the challenges of managing wireless spectrum utilization, and leads the way by offering customers the broadest range of solutions in multiple frequency ranges , including 608 MHz, 915 MHz, and 2450 MHz.
